Welcome to the second Tibetan Film Festival 2006 in Mcleod Ganj, which is also known as "where the Eighth Wonder is!"

There are 16 films lined up in the fest. Eight are made by Tibetans and another was edited by a Tibetan. The remaining seven films are from countries such as India, China, Switzerland, the US and as far as Chile. Some of the films are from critically acclaimed international directors — Zhang Yimou (China) and Deepa Mehta (India).

This film festival is independent of any restrictions and has no affiliation to any government or organisation, and is neither registered nor seeking any fame or recognition from anybody. The fest is aimed at sharing beautiful stories, concerns, interests, and creativity.
